i'm finding it hard to concentrate...
i think its cos i cleaned my studio's windows yesterday...
(procrastinating as usual) and now i can see the garden again!
......and all of the little baby birds eating the seeds we put up last week,
......and of course the chickens eating the fallen seeds underneath,
......and all of the natural world going on outside....

the last few days have been spent making, photographing and uploading,
all in my studio, and i feel a bit cooped up (no chicken pun intended!)
i think i may have to do a spot of knitting in the garden tomorrow!

i've finally got around to setting up shop on Etsy!
its taken a while get motivated
and put aside a few days to sit down to it when i can, and get going...
i do get very distracted and start shopping instead of working!
maybe thats why i put it off for so long!
must limit myself to only an hour a day maybe!! lol x

Swishing the night away!

phew! i'm just about recovered from last night!
i attended a "swish" party at the local hospital, in aid of the local Breast Cancer Charity "Crazy Hats", lots of ladies fighting over donated clothes! how better to spend a friday night!!

I was there with my Bodyshop hat on (my other side income!) offering mini makeovers,
but I took some button it bits in a basket just on the off chance that some ladies might share my love of buttons! and there were lots of you! a few had phobia's (i just don't get that!) but the majority loved it all, and I came home with a very much lighter basket!

Along the same lines as the button heart photo albums and notebooks,
I decided to use some gorgeous fabric I just had to buy when I last went to Ikea,
to cover some notebooks and address books, and decorate them with buttons!
